Our aim is not to just provide young people with somewhere to live, but to give them something to live for.

High Wycombe YMCA was established in 1992, is an incorporated charity, and is affiliated to the National Council of YMCAs which is a registered Housing Association. High Wycombe YMCA currently provides single accommodation for 126 young people.

The Board of Management is responsible for running the YMCA. Within the Board are sub-committees, each of which specialises in a particular aspect of running High Wycombe YMCA, and which report to the Board regularly.

The Board, working in close partnership with the full time staff aim to ensure that the YMCA is a happy place where all residents enjoy living. They also aim to provide facilities and activities which help residents fulfil their full potential and to learn and develop skills which enable them to move on with confidence.

Working in partnership with other local agencies, the YMCA provides a programme of activities designed to support and help residents fulfil their potential and to learn and develop skills that enable them to move confidently on to independent living.
